In the Kalkaji seat, there is a triangular contest between Delhi’s current CM Atishi, former MP Ramesh Bidhuri from BJP and Alka Lamba from Congress. From the Jangpura seat, Manish Sisodia from AAP, Sardar Tarvinder Singh Marwah from BJP and Farhad Suri from Congress are in the fray.

Guidelines regarding exit polls were first issued in India in 1998. According to the Representation of Peoples Act 1951, exit polls cannot be shown until voting in all phases is over. Exit poll results can be shown half an hour after the voting of the last phase is over. Under the law, if anyone shows exit polls or any survey related to elections during the election process or violates the guidelines of the Election Commission, he can be punished with imprisonment up to 2 years or fine or both.
