Big operation of security forces in Chhattisgarh, 31 Naxalites killed in encounter, 2 soldiers also martyred

31 Naxalites have been killed in an encounter with security forces in Bijapur district of Chhattisgarh. This encounter of security forces with Naxalites took place in the forests under the National Park area. Bastar Police said that the search operation is going on in the area.

Bijapur : 31 Naxalites were killed in an encounter with security forces in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Sunday February 9 , 2025 . 4 security personnel are also seriously injured. They have been admitted to the hospital for treatment. A senior police officer said that the encounter started in the morning in the forest of Indravati National Park area when a team of security personnel was on an anti-Naxal operation. Bastar Police said that the search operation is going on in the area. Security forces have recovered weapons during the search at the encounter site.
