Chief Minister inaugurated the Good Governance Garden in IIM Raipur Campus with planting a Molshree Tree ( Spanish Cherry ) along with his cabinet colleagues

Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai inaugurated the Good Governance Garden in the IIM campus on the evening of the first day of Chintan Shivir 2.0 organised at the Indian Institute of Management Raipur on Sunday June 8 , 2025 .

Chief Minister Sai planted a Molshree tree in the Good Governance Garden along with the members of the Cabinet.

Besidesw Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, Deputy Chief Minister Arun Saw and Vijay Sharma, Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Finance Minister OP Choudhary, Industry Minister Lakhanlal Devangan, Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam, Food Minister Dayaldas Baghel, Health Minister Shyambihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma, Women and Child Development Minister Laxmi Rajwade, Secretary to Chief Minister Rahul Bhagat, Director of IIM Raipur Prof. Ram Kumar Kankani also planted a Molshree tree in the Good Governance Garden.

Features of Molshree tree

Maulshree is a fragrant flowering tree found in the Indian subcontinent, South Asia and South-East Asia. It is an evergreen tree which is usually 10-15 meters tall.

Its flowers are small, white or light yellow in color, very fragrant. Their fragrance is even stronger at night. Molshree tree also has medicinal properties and is used to treat many types of problems. Traditionally it has been planted around temples and in the courtyards of houses.
