The opposition Indi alliance organized a huge rally of Muslim organisations at Gandhi Maidan in Patna on Sunday June 29. 2025 against the Waqf law. During this, Tejashwi Yadav said that if his government is formed in Bihar, the Waqf law will not be implemented in the state and he said that his government will throw this law in the dustbin. Now the BJP launched a scathing attack on the opposition by holding a press conference.

‘Opposition has still not come out of its old mindset’

Addressing the press conference, BJP MP Sudhanshu Trivedi said that ‘The 50th anniversary of the Emergency, the darkest chapter in India’s democratic history, was recently celebrated, but it is sad that in a rally held at Gandhi Maidan in Patna yesterday on Sunday June 29 , 2025 , Tejashwi Yadav said that he would throw the law passed by the Parliament in the dustbin. He talked about throwing the Waqf law, which was passed by both houses of the Parliament of India, in the dustbin. This means that he has no respect for the legislature, the judiciary. Tejashwi Yadav and the leaders of the Indi alliance said this for the vote bank. It is clear that these people have still not come out of the mentality of throwing the 50-year old Constitution in the dustbin.

‘Indy alliance wants to convert the constitution into a Maulvi script’
Sudhanshu Trivedi said that ‘The opposition Indy alliance wants to mock Baba Saheb’s constitution and convert it into a Maulvi script. We stand with the socialism of Ram Manohar Lohia, JP, Bharat Ratna Karpuri Thakur, but they stand with those who support triple talaq, halala and head-tan-se-juda and want to make terrorists their Hafiz. The BJP leader said that in their governments, a large number of institutions were given minority status and giving minority status means that SC-ST reservation will not be applicable there. These Namazwadi people are ending the reservation of backward and Dalits through the back door by giving minority status to more and more institutions.’
