Central government takes big action against trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar, dismissed her from service

New Delhi. The central government takes a big action against trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar. The central government has dismissed Pooja Khedkar from the Indian Administrative Service with immediate effect. Earlier, the Union Public Service Commission had canceled her selection about a month ago. Pooja Khedkar was found guilty of fraud and misusing Other Backward Classes (OBC) certificate and disability quota benefits.

On July 31, the UPSC cancelled the provisional candidature of Pooja Khedkar and barred her from appearing in any future examination. Pooja Khedkar was found guilty of misusing her powers and acting in violation of the provisions of the Civil Services Examination Rules. This also included misrepresenting her identity. At the same time, UPSC has also initiated a criminal case against Khedkar for cheating and forgery.
