New Delhi: The Supreme Court has granted bail to Delhi Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convenor Arvind Kejriwal in the corruption case registered by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in the alleged excise policy scam.
The Supreme Court bench, while providing relief to Kejriwal in this case, said that the conditions of bail will be implemented. While giving this decision, the court considered that the bail order is based on his anticipatory bail plea, and under this he will have to cooperate by following the judicial process.
After this decision, Kejriwal has breathed a sigh of relief and said that he will fully follow the legal process. This case is related to the excise policy of Delhi, in which Kejriwal is accused of misusing his position and being involved in the scam.
