CM will distribute Rs 49.43 crore to 57 thousand workers through DBT

Raipur: Under the leadership of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai, many welfare schemes are being initiate in the interest of the workers of the state. The direct benefit of which is being received by the workers and their family members. Industry Minister Lakhan Lal Devangan said that Chief Minister Vishn Deo Sai will distribute Rs 49 crore 43 lakh 52 thousand 294 to more than 57 thousand registered workers and their family members through centralised DBT in the ‘Shramik Sammelan’ on the occasion of Vishwakarma Jayanti on September 17 . This conference will be held in the Krishi Mandapam of Indira Gandhi Agricultural University Jora in the capital.

The Labour Department officials informed here today that Rs. 38 crore 37 lakh 10 thousand 652 will be distributed to 47 thousand 726 construction workers under Chhattisgarh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board under the Labour Department, Rs. 9 crore 86 lakh 58 thousand 500 to 6873 workers under Chhattisgarh Unorganised Workers State Social Security Board and Rs. 1 crore 19 lakh 83 thousand 142 to 2496 workers under Chhattisgarh Labour Welfare Board through DBT to the registered labourers of the state and their family members.

In this manner, a total amount of Rs. 49 crore 43 lakh 5 thousand 229 will be distributed to a total of 57 thousand 95 workers through centralized DBT.
