Paving the way for appointments in corporations, boards, commissions and authorities, first list soon in Chhattisgarh

Raipur: Nine months after the formation of Vishnu Deo government, the way for appointments in corporations, boards, commissions and authorities has finally been cleared. The wait of BJP leaders for political appointments in Chhattisgarh is now about to end. There has been a consensus among the party officials for the post of chairman in corporations Boards and commissions.

According to BJP sources, the list will be released in the coming days. In the first list, many names including spokesperson, former minister, senior officer are almost finalised. Apart from these, there is a discussion going on about making one of Sanjay Srivastava and Kedar Gupta the chairman of the corporation or board. The names of Chhagan Lal Mundhra and Preetesh Gandhi are also coming up.

Appointments in corporations, boards and commissions will be done in two phases. Consensus has been reached on 16 names in the first list.

This list may be released soon. BJP leaders have expressed the possibility of the second list coming after the urban body elections.

No CM’s advisor yet It has been decided in the meeting that no one will be appointed as advisor to Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai right now. There was a discussion that two advisors would be appointed soon. Their names also came up in discussion, but according to highly placed sources, there is no plan to make anyone an advisor at the moment.
