New Delhi: At the NDTV World Summit 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that the central government has done a lot of work in the last 10 years, but this is not the time to rest. A lot of work is still left to be done to take the country to new heights. PM Modi said, “People often tell me that so much work has been done in the last 10 years. You have formed your government three times. Why do you still work so hard, why do you run around so much?”
PM Modi said that he has met many people who say this. They say that now there is no need to work hard. But the dreams we have seen and the resolutions we have taken, there is no place for peace or rest in them. Referring to the work done in the last 10 years, PM Modi further said, “12 crore toilets have been built in the last 10 years. 16 crore gas connections have been provided in the last 10 years. In the same period, 350 medical colleges have been opened, in which more than 15 are AIIMS. In the last 10 years, more than 1.5 lakh startups have happened, in which eight crore youth have started their work for the first time by taking Mudra loan.”
PM Modi said that people ask whether doing so much is not enough? PM Modi further replied, “No…doing so much is not enough. Today India is one of the youngest countries in the world. By using the full potential of this youth power, the heights of the sky can be touched. To touch this height, we need to do a lot of work very fast.” PM said that our goal is to make the country developed by 2047. Therefore, the criterion of success is not only what we have achieved… now what is our next goal, where do we have to reach… we are looking towards that. The resolution of # VIKSIT BHARAT 2047 also shows this thinking.
