CG boy Yuvraj Singh represented India in the World Muaythai championship and won the gold medal in Bangkok, Thailand

Raipur : The Indian Muaythai team, under the aegis of United Muaythai Association India (UMAI), the recognised organization in India of IFMA, an organization recognized by the International Olympic Association (IOC), had participate in the World Muaythai Championship held in Bangkok, Thailand from 12 to 19 September 2024 at Paragon Hall, Siam Paragon Bangkok, Thailand. Yuvraj Singh, the only player from Chhattisgarh out of 17 players in the 25-member team, won the gold medal while playing in his age (14-15) and weight (81+) category. Giving further information on this subject, coach Abdul Moim said that 4300 players from 140 countries participated in the World Muaythai i Championship. The gold medal was presented to Yuvraj Singh by the chief guest of the program, Muaythai International President Tap Kasoh Ji (IFMA) and Stephen Fox International Secretary General (IFMA).
