He said that Indira Gandhi did what she had to do in the 1971 war. Congress party does not surrender. Gandhiji, Jawaharlal Nehru and Sardar Patel were not people who surrender. These were people who fought against super powers.
Ideological battle in the country
Rahul Gandhi said that these days there is a battle of ideology going on in the country. The first battle is of the Constitution. In this, on one side is the Congress Party which is standing with the Constitution. The second battle is of social justice. The attitude of the government regarding caste census is the same as that of women reservation. Regarding caste census, he gave the example of Telangana. Regarding caste census, the public decided the survey questions. This has not happened anywhere else. Everyone should participate for the development of the country. Telangana model is the best for caste census.
