Kulbir Singh alias Siddhu, the England-based aide of the three terrorists killed in the police encounter in Pilibhit, is a terrorist associated with Babbar Khalsa International (BKI). The NIA has announced a reward of Rs 10 lakh on him for the conspiracy to murder VHP leader Vikas Bagga in Nangal of Rupnagar district of Punjab. It was Sidhu who had called Jaspal alias Sunny, resident of Gajraula Japati, from England to arrange a room for the terrorists in a hotel in Puranpur.

Haryana police had also come to Puranpur a few months ago in search of Sidhu. Sidhu, a resident of Yamunanagar, is associated with Wadhawa Singh alias Babbar, the head of BKI based in Pakistan. VHP leader Vikas Bagga was murdered in a sweet shop on April 13. NIA has also made Kulbir an accused in the charge sheet.

The terrorists were shown the way to Puranpur
The police believes that Kulbir Singh alias Sidhu, who is a supporter of the terrorists sitting in England, must have assured them of reaching Puranpur and sending them to other countries from here. Sidhu himself had stayed in Puranpur and Gajraula Japati for about one and a half years. He also played a role in fake visas and passports here. This is the reason why Sidhu had sent fake Aadhar cards from England to get hotel rooms for the terrorists. The police and investigation agencies are busy investigating. Which country the terrorists were planning to go to is also included in the investigation.

The money for the contract came in the account of a youth from Puranpur. Sidhu, who was involved in the conspiracy to kill VHP leader Vikas Bagga, has been in Puranpur for about one and a half years. Apart from the city, he also stayed in Gajraula Japati village for several months. Here he made many contacts. It is being told that the money sent for the murder of the VHP leader also came in the account of a youth from Puranpur area. Later, the same youth sent the money to the shooter’s account. At present, the NIA and the police are connecting the dots.
