Raipur: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai is continuously working for the all-round development of Chhattisgarh. Expansion of health facilities in the state is the top priority of the Chief Minister. In the first digital budget of Chhattisgarh state, there was a big glimpse of strengthening the health system of the state which is becoming a reality. Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal is continuously making efforts at the central level to open new experiments and national level institutions in the field of health. In this sequence, today the super specialty hospital SIMS, built at a cost of Rs 200 crore in Bilaspur of the state, is going to be inaugurated today on the auspicious day of Dhanteras on October 29,2024 .
The Prime Minister of the country Narendra Modi will inaugurate this hospital through virtual medium. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai will also be present in the program. This hospital will start in three phases. OPD in the first phase, wards and ICCU, dialysis unit and lab in the second phase, Cardiac Catheterisation Laboratory , OT, heart and lab machines will start in the third phase and the hospital will start functioning fully in the fourth phase. With the opening of this super specialty hospital in Bilaspur, patients of Surguja and Bilaspur divisions will not need to come to Raipur and better treatment facilities will be available to them nearby.
