New Delhi : The results of the elections held on 288 assembly seats of Maharashtra and 81 assembly seats of Jharkhand are out. In Maharashtra, the Mahayuti has got a huge majority due to the BJP tsunami. While the people of Jharkhand have given their blessings to the INDIA alliance led by Hemant Soren.
After the election results were announced, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed workers at the BJP Headquarters in Delhi on Saturday November 23 , 2024 night. During this, PM Modi slammed the Congress and the India alliance for the crushing defeat in Maharashtra. Modi said, “Ek Hain Toh Safe Hain has become the country’s Mahamantra. After Haryana, the biggest message of the Maharashtra elections is unity.” Prime Minister Narendra Modi also mentioned the election results of Jharkhand. Modi said that for the rapid development of this state, we will now work even harder. Each and every worker of BJP will make every effort for this.
Highlights of PM Modi’s speech:-
PM Modi said, “Maharashtra is the 6th state of the country, which has given the mandate to BJP three times in a row. We have won three times in a row in Goa, Gujarat, Chhattisgarh, Haryana and MP. NDA has also got the mandate three times in a row in Bihar. BJP has emerged as the largest party in Maharashtra. This is a stamp on BJP’s governance model. People of Maharashtra have given more seats to BJP alone than Congress and all its allies. This shows that when it comes to good governance, the country trusts only BJP and NDA.”
PM Modi said, “Today development has won in Maharashtra. True social justice has won. Today lies, deceit, fraud have been completely defeated in Maharashtra. Divisive forces have been completely defeated. Today negative politics has been defeated. Familyism has been defeated. Maharashtra has further strengthened the resolve of a developed India.” The Prime Minister said, “Congress and its ecosystem thought that they will divide SC/ST, OBC into groups by lying in the name of constitution and reservation. Maharashtra has directly rejected the conspiracy of Congress and its allies. Maharashtra has said loudly… if there is one, then it is safe. Its sentiment has punished those who fight in the name of caste, religion, language and region. All communities voted for us. It has given a befitting reply to the ecosystem of thinking of Congress and its allies, who are running an agenda to divide the society.
The PM said, “We carry both development and heritage together. That is why we have got votes. Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is our inspiration. We have always believed in Ambedkar, Mahatma Phule, Savitri Phule. Congress got the opportunity to serve Marathi language for years, but these people did nothing for it. In the next five years, development as well as heritage will move forward at a fast pace with this mantra.”
Modi said, “Those in the IND Alliance are not able to understand the changed mood of the country. These people do not want to accept the truth. These people still underestimate the wisdom of the common voter of India. The voter of the country does not want instability. He is with Nation First. Those who are with Chair First, do not like the nature of the country.”
The PM said, “The political party which makes big promises in one state, the public sees their performance in another state. What is the condition of the promises made in Maharashtra in other states. That is why the public has rejected the hypocrisy of Congress. Congress fielded CMs of other states to mislead the public, even then their trick succeeded. Their false promises did not work.”
Modi said- “There is another message of the mandate of Maharashtra. Only one constitution will run in the whole country. That constitution is Baba Saheb Ambedkar’s constitution, the Constitution of India. Whoever talks about two constitutions in the country, the country will completely reject him. Congress and its allies should listen carefully, now no power in the world can bring back 370 in Jammu and Kashmir.” He said, “This election in Maharashtra has exposed the double-facedness of the Indy and Aghadi people in front of the country. We all know that Bala Saheb Thackeray has contributed a lot to the country and society. Congress, in its greed, took along a faction of his party, released his picture, but no Congress leader praises Bala Saheb.”
Modi said, “I had challenged them regarding Veer Savarkar. Congress insulted Veer Savarkar all over the country, abused him. These people had stopped abusing Veer Savarkar in the Maharashtra elections, but the truth did not come out of the mouth of Congress even once. This is their double-facedness.
He said, “Congress party has now become a parasite in Indian politics. It is becoming increasingly difficult for Congress to form a government on its own. They have been wiped out in Andhra, Arunachal, Sikkim, Haryana and today in Maharashtra. Congress’s divisive politics is failing, but its arrogance is at its peak.” Modi said, “Congress has become a parasitic party. It sinks the boats of its allies. In Maharashtra, the Congress alliance has lost 4 out of every 5 seats. The strike rate of every component of the alliance is less than 20 percent. This shows that the Congress sinks itself and sinks others. In states like UP, the Congress allies saved their lives, otherwise the Congress allies would have had to face the consequences there too.”
Modi said, “This family of Congress defamed secularism in the name of false secularism. This is betrayal. This is the family’s betrayal of the Constitution. For decades, Congress has played the same game in the country. Congress made laws for appeasement. It did not care about the orders of the Supreme Court. Congress has tried to give a death sentence to true secularism. The thinking of the royal family of Congress has become so distorted that they have destroyed the system of social justice.” PM said, “Today this Congress and its family is spreading the poison of casteism to satiate their self-given hunger for power. These people have strangled social justice. One family’s hunger for power is so extreme that they have consumed their own party.”
Modi said, “There are old Congress members in different parts of the country who are looking for the Congress of their time. The habits and behaviour of today’s Congress clearly show that this is not that Congress. Discontent is growing internally in the Congress. There is a huge fire inside. The flame of discontent has flared up. One family has taken control of the Congress. , PM Said .
