Raipur : Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Saturday June 7 , 2025 attended the ceremony of taking charge and felicitation of the newly appointed Chairman of Chhattisgarh State Beverages Corporation Srinivas Rao Maddi at Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Auditorium in the capital Raipur as the chief guest.

On this occasion, he congratulated Srinivas Rao Maddi for the new responsibility.

Addressing the program, Chief Minister Sai said that Srinivas Rao Maddi has been socially active for a long time and has deep experience of working in various positions. I am confident that his experience will prove useful in strengthening the work of the State Beverages Corporation. CM Sai said that our government is bringing transparency in government work through many innovations.

Chief Minister Sai said that our government is working with full commitment for peace establishment and development in Bastar. Along with Naxal eradication, we are speeding up the work of infrastructure and tourism development in Bastar, so that local people can get new opportunities for self-employment. We have recently started providing two best breed of cows to the tribal family through the Milk Animal Scheme, which will increase the production of milk in the state and increase the income of farmers and cattle rearers.

Chief Minister Sai mentioned the important discussions held regarding the development of the state during his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Delhi on Friday June 6 , 2025 .

CM Vishnu Deo Sai said that there was a meaningful discussion with the Prime Minister about irrigation projects in Bastar and the ambitious initiative to connect Indravati and Mahanadi projects . He said that along with the development of Bastar, these projects will prove to be a decisive step in the creation of developed Chhattisgarh.

Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh in his address said that the Beverages Corporation will definitely benefit from the long experience of Srinivas’s social life. He had earlier also got the opportunity to work as the Chairman of the Forest Development Corporation and he discharged the responsibility in a better way. On the occasion, he congratulated and wished Srinivas Rao Maddi for the new responsibilities. On the ccasion, Jagdalpur MLA Kiran Singh Deo also addressed and wished Maddi for his new responsibilities .

Forest Minister Kedar Kashyap, Health Minister Shyam Bihari Jaiswal, Revenue Minister Tankaram Verma, MP Roopkumari Chaudhary, MP Mahesh Kashyap, MP Bhojraj Nag, MLA Mr. Rajesh Munat , MLA Motilal Sahu, MLA Asharam Netam, MLA Chaitram Atami, MLA Vinayak Goyal, MLA Dharamlal Kaushik, Chairmen of various corporations and boards, Managing Director of Chhattisgarh State Beverages Corporation Shyam Dhavade, officers and employees of the Excise Department and a large number of dignitaries including public representatives were present in the program.
