Dhamtari.:District hospital doctors and medical staff have been attacked. This attack was carried out by Dhamtari Congress leader and District Panchayat Vice President Nishu Chandrakar and his associates. It is said that on the night of August 25, during the shift, at around 1:45 am, Nishu Chandrakar and his group forcibly entered the minor OT (dressing) room. Where they abused and attacked the on-duty doctor and staff members. A video of this incident has also surfaced.
Although , doctors say that Congress leader and Dhamtari District Panchayat Vice President Nishu Chandrakar and his associates came and forcibly entered the dressing room. Despite repeated requests by doctors to vacate the room, Nishu Chandrakar and his associates refused to leave. They threatened to kill, due to which the treatment of the patient was stopped.
This hooliganism continued till about 3 am. This incident has shocked the medical staff and they are very worried about their safety. It is said that this is the third time that Nishu Chandrakar and his associates have illegally entered the hospital premises and attacked the doctors. Due to these attacks, the doctors providing health services are scared. They are also worried about their safety.
