Congress MLA Devendra Yadav’s remand extended for 7 days
Raipur/Balodabazar; Congress MLA from Bhilai, Chhattisgarh, Devendra Yadav will remain in jail for 7 more days. After appearing in court on Tuesday September 3 , the court has extended his remand till 9 September. The hearing was conducted through video conferencing in view of the law and order situation. Earlier, the hearing was held on August 20 and 27 . Today also, Devendra Yadav’s lawyer raised the issue of police presenting the challan. It is likely that the police may present the challan by September 10 . He was arrested by Bhilai police on 17 August in the Balodabazar violence case.
