There is uncertainty over the name of the Chief Minister in Maharashtra. A meeting was called at the residence of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Thursda November 28 , 2024 y on the name of the new CM. The name of the CM could not be revealed in this meeting, after which a meeting was to be held in Mumbai the next day. However, after returning from Delhi to Mumbai, Maharashtra’s acting Chief Minister Eknath Shinde went to his native village in Satara. Shinde fell ill after reaching there. One of his colleagues said that Shinde’s health is fine now and he will return to Mumbai by Sunday December 1 , 2024 evening. A team of doctors treated him due to high fever on Saturday.

The doctor said, he has been given medicines and put on IV (intra-venous therapy). He will feel better in two days and will leave for Mumbai on Sunday December 1 , 2024 . A close aide of Shiv Sena chief Eknath Shinde said on Sunday that the caretaker Chief Minister has been ill for some time and he had fever on Saturday November 30 , 2024 . He is fine at the moment and will return to Mumbai by Sunday December 1, 2024 evening .
Swearing-in ceremony will be held on December 5
BJP state president Chandrashekhar Bawankule said that the swearing-in ceremony in Maharashtra will be held on December 5, 2024 in the evening at Azad Maidan in South Mumbai. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will also attend this ceremony. However, it has not been revealed yet who will be the next Chief Minister of Maharashtra? According to BJP sources, Devendra Fadnavis is leading in the race for the Chief Minister. Let us tell you that Fadnavis was handling the charge of Deputy CM in the Shinde government.
