Narayanpur: A joint operation is being carried out by police , DRG , STF and BSF on receiving information about the presence of Maoists in the north Abujhmad region. During the search, an encounter is going on between the police , DRG, STF ,BSF and the Maoists. Intermittent firing is going on. The Maoists are surrounded by the forces at Narayanpur, Kanker, Kondagaon and Maharashtra. So far, bodies of four Naxalites along with two weapons have also been recovered.

A fierce encounter is going on between the police and Naxalites since early morning . This encounter is going on in the jungles of Maad. This has been confirmed by SP IK Ellisela. There are reports of many Naxalites being killed in the encounter as of now , information is being received about 3 bodies have been recovered. Weapons have also been recovered from the spot …
