Uttarakhand / Mumbai : A sensational case has come to light in Uttarakhand, in which Aarushi Pokhriyal, daughter of former Chief Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, has been duped of Rs 4 crore in the name of getting her a role in a film and promoting it. In this case, the police have registered a case against two accused and started investigation. Aarushi Pokhriyal told in her complaint that she herself is working in the field of film production. She is involved in acting and film production through herself . Last year, Mansi Varun Wagla and Varun Pramod Kumar Wagla, who are residents of Fairy Land Juhu, Mumbai, came to her house in Dehradun. The Wagla couple met Aarushi and told her that they are the directors of Mini Films Private Limited and big stars like Shanaya Kapoor and Vikrant Massey are working in their film “Aankhon Ki Gustakhiyaan”.
The accused promised Aarushi an important role in the film and in return asked her to invest Rs 5 crore. Along with this, she was also deceived that she can earn a profit of Rs 15 crore through this film.
Payment of Rs 4 crore
The film producer Wagla couple assured Aarushi that she can finalize the script of the role as per her wish. If the role is not liked, then a promise was also made to return Rs 5 crore with 15 percent interest. After this assurance, Aarushi paid a total of Rs 4 crore in four installments on 10, 27, 30 October and 19 November 2024 as per the instructions of the Wagla couple.
Did not get the role, did not return the money either
