In Atul Subhash suicide case, his wife Nikita arrested from Gurugram; mother and brother arrested from Prayagraj

Bengaluru : Atul Subhash Suicide Case: On the complaint of Atul’s brother Vikas Kumar, Marathahalli police had registered an FIR against four people including Atul’s wife Nikita Singhania under section 108 and 3(5) of the BNS. It named Nikita Singhania, her mother Nisha Singhania, brother Anurag Singhania and uncle Sushil Singhania.

Police has taken major action in Atul Subhash suicide case. Bengaluru Police has arrested wife, mother-in-law and brother-in-law in the suicide case of engineer Atul Subhash. Police said on Sunday that Atul December 15 , 2024 Subhash’s wife Nikita Singhania was arrested from Gurugram, Haryana. Along with this, Nikita’s mother Nisha Singhania and brother Anurag Singhania were arrested from Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh.

Police said that the accused were arrested on Saturday December 14 morning and brought to Bangalore. After this, all three were produced in the local court. From here, the court sent all three to 14 days judicial custody. Earlier, the body of Atul Subhash (34) was found hanging from a noose at his house in Munnekolalu in south-east Bengaluru on December 9 , 2024 .

He had alleged in the video and note that his wife and in-laws, who were living separately from him, implicated him in false cases and harassed him continuously and forced him to commit suicide. On this basis, Marathahalli police registered a case of abetting suicide and arrested three people including Nikita.

What is the matter?

In fact, due to harassment from his wife and her family and not getting justice despite 120 court dates in two years, 34-year-old IT professional Atul Subhash, working in Bangalore, embraced death. Considering suicide as the last option, Atul left a video of about one and a half hours and a suicide note of 24 pages before leaving the world, in which he exposed the flaws in the social fabric of married life, the story of greed and conspiracy of the partner, and corruption in the legal department.

In the case, Marathahalli police had registered an FIR against four people including Atul’s wife Nikita Singhania under section 108 and 3(5) of BNS on the complaint of Atul’s brother Vikas Kumar. FIR was registered against Nikita Singhania, her mother Nisha Singhania, brother Anurag Singhania and uncle Sushil Singhania. All of them were running away from the police.

According to the police, Nikita was arrested from Gurugram in Haryana, the two others were arrested from Uttar Pradesh’s Prayagraj. A team of police had gone there to secure their arrest and issued notices. But the accused had managed to escape and had also applied for anticipatory bail.
