On Wednesday ,September 11, a Delhi court extended the judicial custody of Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal till September 25. At the same time, a Delhi court has granted bail to Aam Aadmi Party leader Durgesh Pathak in the excise policy scam case.
CM Arvind Kejriwal and other detained persons appeared in the court through video conferencing from Tihar Jail. During the hearing, CM Kejriwal’s bail was extended till 25 September. It is worth mentioning that senior advocate Abhishek Manu Singhvi is fighting on behalf of CM Arvind Kejriwal in the Supreme Court. CBI alleges that Aam Aadmi Party has benefited from illegal money in the alleged scam related to the excise policy case.
Aam Aadmi Party MLA Durgesh Pathak has got bail in the Delhi liquor scam case. Durgesh Pathak had appeared in the court in response to a summons. After this, he got bail after filling a bond of Rs 1 lakh. Delhi’s Rouse Avenue Court has granted him bail.
