Balodabazar-Bhatapara District Collector Deepak Soni, taking immediate action on the instructions of the Chief Minister, has approved financial assistance grant amount for the families of the deceased within 24 hours of the incident. This assistance amount has been approved under Revenue Book Circular 6-4. It is worth mentioning that on September 8, 2024, Suresh Sahu, Santosh Sahu, Pappu Sahu, Pokhram Vishwakarma, Thaneshwar Sahu, Devdas, Vijay Sahu died due to lightning in village Mohtara.
