Raipur: As per the order of the Chhattisgarh Directorate of Public Instruction (DPI) , online open counseling was conducted to promote a total of 1,227 head teachers (primary schools) and B.Ed. trained postgraduate teachers (LV) to the Lecturer/Lecturer (LB) cadre. The counseling took place from September 25th to 28th at the Government Teacher Education College, Shankar Nagar, Raipur.
On the fourth day, September 28th, special counseling was held for candidates who were absent during the first three days of counseling. Five candidates from Sanskrit, English, Economics, Geography, and Mathematics were counseled. Additionally, 165 absent candidates were allocated positions in vacant positions in schools in their respective districts/divisions through lottery.
Of the total 1,102 candidates, 937 attended the counseling, resulting in an attendance percentage of 85.03 percent. Appointment orders have been issued by the nodal officer to all candidates selected in the counseling for posting in their chosen schools.
