New Delhi – Parliament : There is uproar in both the houses of Parliament even today. Both Congress and BJP protested in the Parliament House premises on the issue of Baba Saheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. During this, there was news of a scuffle between the MPs of both the parties at Makar Dwar. BJP MP Pratap Sarangi was seen with a head injury. He has been admitted to the hospital. The injured MP alleged that Rahul Gandhi pushed an MP, who fell on me. Responding to the allegation, Rahul said that yes! This happened. They were trying to stop us at the entrance. Mallikarjun Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi were also pushed.
Why did BJP-Congress MPs come face to face?
Actually, Congress took out a march in the Parliament House premises over the statement of Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar. In response, BJP protested against Congress accusing it of politics of lies. During this, MPs of both the parties came face to face at the Makar Dwar of Parliament House. There was also a scuffle between the two.

What did Rahul reply?

I was trying to enter through the entrance of Parliament, BJP MPs were trying to stop , push and intimidate me. So this happened. Yes, it has happened. Mallikarjun Kharge was pushed. Priyanka Gandhi was also pushed. However, we were not affected by the pushing. This is the entrance and we have the right to go inside. BJP MPs were trying to stop us from going inside. The main issue is that they are attacking the Constitution and insulting the memory of Ambedkar.
