Pilibhit Encounter: Three terrorists of Khalistani Commando Force killed in encounter with UP-Punjab police; AK-47 recovered

UP and Punjab police have achieved a big success in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh. UP and Punjab police have killed three Khalistani terrorists in an encounter. All three terrorists belonged to the Khalistani Commando Force. Two AK-47s and two pistols have been recovered from the spot. All three had thrown grenades at the Gurdaspur outpost.

UP/PUNJAB:Three Khalistani terrorists have been killed in an encounter in Pilibhit district of Uttar Pradesh. This action has been taken by a joint team of Punjab and UP police in Puranpur area. The encounter took place near Hardoi Branch Canal in Puranpur area at around 5 am on Monday.

The names of the killed terrorists are Pratap Singh (23) son Swaroop Singh, Shahnoor Khurd Kalanoor District Gurdaspur, Virendra Singh (23) son Ranjit Singh, Aishban Police Station Kalanoor, Gurvinder Singh (20) son Gurdev Singh Budhiya Kalanoor Gurdaspur Punjab. Two AK-47s and two pistols have been recovered. It is being told that these three were wanted in the case of attack on police post in Gurdaspur, Punjab.

Punjab Police was searching for them. The location of all three was found in Puranpur, Pilibhit. Here, with the help of Pilibhit Police, Punjab Police surrounded the three accused on Monday December 23, 2024 morning. Police encounter took place near Hardoi Branch Canal.

The entire area was shaken by gunfire. Panic spread in the surrounding villages. People were unable to understand what happened. Police reached CHC Puranpur with the accused injured in the encounter, where all three were declared dead.

Two constables have also been injured in the encounter. Constable Sumit Rathi, Thana Madhotanda and Mohammad Shahnawaz SOG are involved. SP reached CHC and gathered information about the entire incident.
