Raipur: . Divisional Commissioner Mahadev Kavre has taken a big action today and suspended the Belargaon Tehsildar of Dhamtari district with immediate effect. Tehsildar Anuj Patel has been suspended for being out of the headquarters without permission or competent approval and not making the expected progress in government work. An order has also been issued in this regard from the Divisional Commissioner’s office. The headquarters of the suspended Tehsildar has been fixed as the Commissioner’s Office, Raipur.
Regarding this Kavre informed that continuous complaints were being received against the Tehsildar of Belargaon in Dhamtari district. Complaints have also been received that Tehsildar Anuj Patel is habitual of staying out of the headquarters without permission or competent approval. Complaints were also received against him of negligence and lack of interest towards government work.
Kavre informed that complaints of low progress in resolving revenue related cases, keeping the cases pending for a long time and causing trouble to the common people were also received against Patel. I Being the reason behind the Collector of Dhamtari district was instructed to investigate and submit a report. The Divisional Commissioner informed that on the basis of the report received from the Collector, Tehsildar Anuj Patel of Belargaon has been suspended. He has been suspended under the provisions of Chhattisgarh Civil Services Rules 1966. The Divisional Commissioner has also directed Collector Dhamtari to prepare a charge sheet against Patel, details of allegations, list of witnesses, list of documents etc. and make it available to the Divisional Commissioner’s office within seven days.
