In such a situation, Errol’s visit to Moscow and his statements are being seen as an opportunity by Russia. Some analysts believe that Russia is trying to use this situation to show the Trump administration as weak and to get Musk on its side.

This bill proposes to end the tax exemption on the purchase of electric vehicles. The Biden government used to give a tax exemption of $ 7,500 on the purchase of a new EV. Trump is going to end it.
There is a provision in this bill that companies that have sold two lakh EVs between 2009 and 2025 will not get exemption. This is a direct setback for Elon Musk’s Tesla.
Another reason is that Elon Musk wanted to appoint his trusted Jared Isaacman as administrator in the US space agency NASA. But Trump ignored his recommendation. Musk believed that if Isaacman becomes administrator in NASA, then his company SpaceX will also benefit from it.
Trump had entrusted Musk with the responsibility of DOGE, whose job was to cut government expenditure. Trump had asked him to reduce ‘useless and unnecessary expenditure’ in a way.
