Shivalik Sharma arrested: Former MI player Shivalik Sharma arrested amid IPL 2025, raped his ex-fiancée on the pretext of marrying her

Shivalik Sharma arrested: Former Mumbai Indians cricketer in IPL, Shivalik Sharma has been arrested by the police today in a rape case. Shivalik was accused by his former fiancée of raping her on the pretext of marriage.

According to the information, Shivalik was booked for rape by his ex-fiancée. Shivalik is accused of getting engaged to the victim and having physical relations with her by promising marriage and later on refusing to marry her.

Engagement happened in August 2023

In August 2023, both got engaged with the consent of Shivalik and the girl’s families. After the engagement, when Shivalik came to Jodhpur again, he had physical relations with his fiancée. Then in August 2024, Shivalik called the girl to Vadodara. There his parents told the girl that since Shivalik is a cricketer, and looks for better prospects so this engagement cannot go ahead and teat it as broken

Now taking action in this matter, the Kudi Bhagatsuni police station of Jodhpur has arrested Shivalik Sharma in the rape case.
