Jagdalpur: Sports competitions are being organised at the block level between 1 and 15 November under Bastar Olympics 2024 in Jagdalpur, the headquarters of Bastar division. Giving further information under this, Assistant Director Sports and Youth Welfare of District Bastar Rajendra Dekate informed that zone level competition will start from November 5,2024 in various Vikas Khand ( Development Block ) of Bastar district.
The players who have registered for Bastar Olympics 2024 will be able to participate in the zone level competition of their Vikas Khand . The zone level competition will be a part of the block level competition. Athletics, Kabaddi, Kho-Kho, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, Tug of War, Karate and Archery competitions will be organised at the zone level.
The zone level winners will participate at the block level completion .
The winners of the Vikas Khand will participate at the district level, and the winners of the district level will participate at the division level.
The competition of hockey and weightlifting will be organised directly at the district level.
All the players registered for Bastar Olympics 2024 are asked , wherever they have registered under Bastar Olympics 2024, to participate in this competition at the zone level of their block, after the zone level, there will be a Vikas Khand level event, in which the winning players from the zone level will participate, after becoming the winner of the Vikas Khand , the players will be able to participate at the district level.
No player will be given direct entry at the district level, only hockey and weightlifting players will be able to participate directly at the district level, all the players are asked to participate in the competition to be held at the zone level of various Vikas Khands (Development Blocks ) in Bastar district from November 5.
Players of Municipal Corporation Jagdalpur and Nagar Panchayat Bastar will be able to participate in Jagdalpur Vikas Khand ( Development Block) and Bastar Vikas Khand ( Development Block) For this zone level competition is being organised by the Municipal Corporation. the players of Municipal Corporation area and Bastar Nagar Panchayat area are asked to compulsorily participate in the first phase of competition by contacting the Municipal Corporation office or District Panchayat.
