The government’s big gift to the farmers across the country, Modi cabinet takes 7 decisions

In the meeting of the Union Cabinet, 7 schemes related to farmers have been approved. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav gave this information. He said that the cabinet has taken 7 major decisions on Monday September 2 ,to improve the lives of farmers and increase their income. In the meeting of the Union Cabinet chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, about Rs 14,000 crore has been approved for these 7 programs related to the agriculture sector.

Ashwani Vaishnav said, the first is the Digital Agriculture Mission, it is to prepare digital public infrastructure for agriculture. Digital Agriculture Mission will be prepared with an investment of 2817 crores.

Modi government gave these gift to farmers

1-Ashwini Vaishnav said , the Union Cabinet approved a scheme of Rs 3,979 crore dedicated to crop science of food, nutrition.

2- Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said, the Union Cabinet approved the Digital Agriculture Mission of Rs 2,817 crore.

3- He said, the Cabinet approved a program with a provision of Rs 2,292 crore to strengthen agricultural education and management.

4- The government approved a scheme of Rs 1,702 crore for sustainable livestock health.

5- The Union Cabinet has approved Rs 860 crore for the development of horticulture.

6- Approved an allocation of Rs 1,202 crore for Krishi Vigyan Kendras.

7- A scheme of Rs 1,115 crore has also been approved to strengthen natural resource management.

These decisions were also approved in the cabinet meeting

– The Union Cabinet approved the proposal of Kenes Semicon Private Limited to set up a semiconductor unit in Sanand, Gujarat. The proposed unit will be set up with an investment of Rs 3,300 crore. The capacity of this unit will be 60 lakh chips per day.

– The chips produced in this unit will cater to a wide range of applications, covering sectors such as industrial, automotive, electric vehicles, consumer electronics, telecom, mobile phones, etc.

Cabinet approves 309 km long new line project: To provide shortest rail connectivity between two major commercial centres – Mumbai and Indore.

– The approved project, apart from connecting commercial centres Mumbai and Indore by the shortest rail route, will also connect unconnected areas of Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh by passing through 2 districts of Maharashtra and 4 districts of Madhya Pradesh.

The total cost of the project is Rs 18,036 crore and will be completed by 2028-29. The project will also generate direct employment of about 102 lakh days during construction.
