Maharashtra: ‘Kunal Kamra’s call recording, CDR and bank statement will be investigated’, statement of minister Yogesh Kadam

The issue of the controversy that started due to the controversial remarks of comedian Kunal Kamra was also raised in the Maharashtra Legislative Council. Responding to this, the State Minister of State for Home, Yogesh Kadam, has said that the entire matter will be investigated from all angles and strict action will be taken against those responsible for this.

Speaking in the Maharashtra Legislative Council on the controversy surrounding comedian Kunal Kamra, Maharashtra Minister of State for Home Yogesh Kadam said, “His call recordings, CDRs and bank statements will also be investigated. We will find out who is behind this.”

What statement did Kunal Kamra give?
Comedian Kunal Kamra made a controversial comment on Maharashtra Deputy CM Eknath Shinde in his show without naming him. He took a dig at Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde without naming him and called him a traitor. A case has also been registered against Kunal Kamra for this controversial comment.

There was a lot of uproar after the controversial statement. After this controversial statement, the enraged Shiv Sainiks attacked the place where the show was organized. According to the information, Hotel Unicontinental in Khar area of ​​Mumbai was vandalized by Shiv Sena workers. After this, an FIR was registered against Shiv Sena Yuva Sena (Shinde faction) General Secretary Rahul Kanal and 19 others. FIR was registered under several sections of BNS and Maharashtra Police Act.

Deputy CM Ajit Pawar gave advice
On this controversy, Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar said that no one should violate the law and the Constitution. They should control their words. Pawar said, ‘No one should violate the law and the Constitution. Ideologies may be different, but statements should be made within the ambit of the law. One has to ensure that his comments do not create new issues and problems for law and order.’
