Jharkhand Election 1st Phase Voting Percentage: Voting is going on for 43 seats in the first phase of Jharkhand Assembly Elections 2024 from 7 am today. According to the data released by the Election Commission, 13.04% voting has taken place till 9 am. The highest voting has been done in Simdega, where the voting percentage is 15.09. Let us inform you, voting will take place till 5 pm. 950 booths have been set up for this. 200 companies of central paramilitary forces have been deployed to conduct peaceful voting. There are 683 candidates in the fray in this phase. Among them, 73 are women candidates. Out of 43 seats, 17 are general. 20 seats are of ST category. 6 seats are reserved for Scheduled Castes.

Second phase voting on November 20, 2024
Voting for 38 seats of the second phase will be held on November 20. Election results will be declared on November 23. Results of Maharashtra assembly elections are also to be declared on the same day. Let us tell you, the current term of Jharkhand Assembly will end on January 5.
PM appeals for voting

CRPF jawan shot in Palamu
CRPF jawan Santosh Kumar Yadav posted on election duty in Palamu got shot in the head. The injured jawan has been admitted to Medinirai Medical College and Hospital. The doctor referred him to Ranchi, after which the jawan is being airlifted and admitted to Ranchi. Jawan Santosh was posted on duty in Labhar of Latehar. He is originally from Bihar. His family members have been informed, after which they have left for Ranchi.
