Women empowerment is incomplete without the education of girls. Education makes women self-reliant and gives them the power to stand up for their rights. This was said by Raipur MP Shri Brijmohan Agarwal at the initiation ceremony of Government Dudhdhari Bajrang Kanya Mahavidyalaya on August 3 .
Brijmohan Agarwal inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp, after which the newly admitted girl students were welcomed with Saraswati Vandana.
On this particular occasion, Shri Brijmohan Agarwal while addressing the program said that college is a new beginning of student life. From here we get a chance to decide the direction and condition of life. We have to make efforts to achieve a goal in life. Some want to go to IAS, PCS, banking, army, while some have a different plan which has to be kept in mind. We should not give up even in adverse circumstances. Through willpower, hard work and determination, we can achieve even the most difficult goals.
Shri Brijmohan Agarwal also said that now the education policy has been implemented across the country including Chhattisgarh. In which examinations will be conducted twice a year under the semester system. Once there is a poor performance, you will get an opportunity to correct the mistakes in the second semester. Not only this, now students can choose subjects according to interest. A student studying in Arts can also study Science and IT. The aim of the new education policy is to make our education system world class.
Municipal Corporation Leader of Opposition Meenal Choubey, who was present in the program, was also appointed as the Chairman of the Public Participation Committee. Councilor Seema Kandoi, IQAC Co-0rdinato and senior Professor Usha Kiran Agarwal , Principal Dr. Kiran Gajpal, and a large number of girl students were present to grace the occasion .
