Teachers are worried about losing their jobs, submitted a memorandum to CM

Sarguja/ Bastar :The fear of losing the job of assistant teachers has started haunting them now. Due to which a large number of assistant teachers reached the Collectorate and submitted a memorandum in the name of the CM.

The teachers said that if the teachers of Surguja division and Bastar division lose their jobs, then they will have a crisis of running their families. The assistant teachers said in their memorandum that we 2900 B.Ed trained teachers have been serving in the remote areas of Bastar and Surguja divisions for many years. Our recruitment has been done under the Gazette Chhattisgarh State Recruitment Rules 2019 approved by the then Governor.

All of us assistant teachers have come into government service on the basis of merit by passing the examination (2023) conducted by Chhattisgarh Vyapam. This appointment was declared invalid by the Bilaspur High Court. This decision has been challenged by the Chhattisgarh government by filing SLP in the High Court. The same SLPS has also been applied by the assistant teachers. Which has been rejected by the High Court after hearing the case on August 28
