Ujjain wall collapse case: CM Dr. Mohan Yadav expresses grief over the death of two people, announces financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh each to the families of the deceased and Rs 50,000 to the injured

Bhopal: Chief Minister Dr. Mohan Yadav has expressed grief over the death of two people due to wall collapse in Ujjain. Chief Minister Dr. Yadav has instructed the district administration to carry out rescue operations on a war footing to safely evacuate the devotees trapped under the debris.

Chief Minister Dr Mohan Yadav wrote on X that a very sad incident has happened in Ujjain where two local people died due to wall collapse near Maharajwada School. I have directed senior officers to ensure proper treatment of the injured. May Baba Mahakal give place to the souls of the departed in his feet and give strength to the bereaved families to bear this immense loss. On behalf of the Madhya Pradesh government, instructions have been given to provide financial assistance of ₹4 lakh each to the families of the deceased and ₹50,000 to the injured.

I express my condolences to the bereaved families in this hour of grief, CM said .
