Mumbai Police has achieved a major breakthrough in finding the accused who threatened to blow up Air India flight AI 119. The person who threatened to blow up the plane turned out to be a minor from Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh, who belongs to a business family. This threat was given on social media platform X (formerly Twitter), which caused a national uproar.
Due to the threat (Air India flight Bomb Threat), the plane had to make an emergency landing at Delhi Airport. Air India flight AI 119 had departed from Mumbai to New York. Looking at the seriousness of the matter, the Mumbai Police Commissioner formed a special investigation team, which is headed by 2015 batch IPS officer and Mumbai Airport DCP Manish Kalwania. The team also includes inspector level officers. The investigation team reached Rajnandgaon in Chhattisgarh from Mumbai in search of the person who threatened. Here the minor son of the businessman has been detained, whom the Special Investigation Team is interrogating.
The investigation team has detained the minor in Rajnandgaon and is interrogating him. In the investigation so far, it has come to light that the minor who threatened has a business background. The police is seriously investigating the matter to get to the bottom of it.
