Governor Ramen Deka hoisted the flag at Raj Bhavan this morning on the occasion of Independence Day and took salutes and inspected the parade. First Lady Rani Deka Kakoti was also present on this occasion. Independence Day The Governor congratulated the officers and employees of the Raj Bhavan Secretariat on Independence Day and met their family members and children and distributed toffees and sweets among the children. On this occasion, all the officers and employees of Raj Bhavan including Governor’s Secretary Yashwant Kumar, Legal Advisor Bhishma Prasad Pandey, Deputy Secretary Hina Animesh Netam were present.
