Mumbai : No one can say what will happen in politics. It is very difficult to guess when someone will change sides, because it has been seen many times that those who used to be opponents are seen standing with Modi and BJP today. In such a situation, many leaders changed their party amidst the excitement of Lok Sabha elections. India alliance has got many shocks before the Lok Sabha elections and only time will tell how many shocks it will get. Because the statement given by Uddhav Thackeray about PM Modi and BJP has led to a flood of speculations in the political corridors.
Let us tell you that Shiv Sena (UBT) President and former Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray has put the India Alliance in tension by making a statement for PM Modi. However, during this time he has also targeted BJP and PM Modi. While addressing a public meeting, Uddhav Thackeray said that he was not an enemy of Prime Minister Narendra Modi even before and is not even today. He said that PM Modi himself had decided to break ties with the Sena. Uddhav Thackeray also took a dig at Prime Minister Modi’s visit to Maharashtra. He said that the PM comes to Maharashtra to see what can be taken from here to Gujarat.
Uddhav Thackeray also targeted PM Modi and said that ‘You became the Prime Minister because our MPs like Vinayak Raut were elected. But later you distanced us from yourself. Our Hindutva and saffron flag still remain. But today, the BJP is trying to tear that saffron flag’.
The Shiv Sena (Uttar Pradesh) president said that unlike any other election, the 2024 general election is the most important election ever. Launching a scathing attack on the BJP, Uddhav Thackeray said, ‘Every year we congratulate each other on Republic Day. I fear that if the demons in power are re-elected, the next Republic Day will never come before us. It will be Dictator Day’.
Appealing to his workers to remain united ahead of the upcoming elections, Thackeray said, ‘Those who have troubled us will be taught such a tough lesson that the next generation will not even remember their names’. He said, ‘He (Modi) has been coming to Maharashtra often. I fear that wherever he comes, he will take something from there to Gujarat’. Uddhav Thackeray also said, ‘Today Muslims are joining us, because they have realized that our Hindutva is not about lighting a fire between two religions. Our Hindutva is about lighting the stove in the kitchen, while your (BJP’s) Hindutva is about burning the house’
